Abstract
The study aimed to identify role of psychological support in improving the performance level of amputee football players in the Palestinian national team. The study used the descriptive analytical approach and the questionnaire to collect data from (30) amputee football players in the Palestinian national team. The study concluded that the psychological support axis obtained (84.86%), and the performance improvement axis obtained (82.35%), in the national amputee football team, in addition to the existence of a role for psychological support in improving the performance level of amputee football players in the Palestinian national team. The study recommends working to increase the level of follow-up psychological support by those in charge of the Palestinian national team by providing sufficient time to listen to them and provide them with advice and the necessary assistance to ease their minds, reassure their hearts, and motivate them towards training, encouraging and motivating amputee football coaches to engage in training courses and meetings that help them raise their training levels and increase their experience
